1. Never Study A Single English Word. Learn English Phrases!
That’s right, do not memorize words. Native speakers do not learn English by remembering single words. Native speakers learn phrases.
2. Never Study Grammar
Right now. Stop. Put away your grammar books and textbooks. Grammar rules teach you to think about English, you want to speak automatically– without thinking!
3. Learn With Your Ears, Not Your Eyes
Spend most of your study time listening- that is the key to great speaking.
4. Slow, Deep Learning Is Best
Its not enough to know a definition. Its not enough to remember for a test. You must put the word deep into your brain. To speak English easily, you must repeat each lesson many times.
5. Use Point Of View Mini-Stories
You must learn grammar by listening to real English. The best way is to listen to the same story… told in different times (points of view): Past, Perfect, Present, Future. How do you do this? Easy! Find a story or article in the present tense. Then ask your native speaker tutor to write it again in the Past, with Perfect tenses, and in the Future. Finally, ask him to read and record these stories for you.
6. Only Use Real English Lessons & Materials
How do you learn Real English? It’s easy. Stop using textbooks. Instead, listen only to real English movies, TV shows, audio books, audio articles, stories, and talk radio shows. Use real English materials.
7. Listen and Answer Mini-Stories (not Listen and Repeat)
Because the teacher constantly and quickly asks easy questions, you don’t have time to think about grammar. You just immediately shout a couple of words– which teaches you to respond faster, and faster, and faster.

Without promotion, our product would not be known by people. There are various ways to get known by a larger group of potential customers, by using the newspaper, banners, brochures, radio and television. Doing this means that we have to spend money first, before being able to sell products. Da Vinci also has some ways to promote their product (High quality Education, of International standards). The interesting thing about that was that the Da Vinci Polytechnic Papua International School did not spend a lot of money to do that, while the effects are tremendous. The conversation below is an interview of our reporter with one of the students, responsible for marketing activities.
What was the purpose of your work, what was your objective?
We had to find a creative way to promote our school, without a great budget.
Can you tell me how important your task was?
It is important that everyone knows that we exist, and that our school is the best alternative for everyone who is in search for quality education.
How did you manage to work with a limited budget?
First we had to find a sponsor. Then we had to offer him a deal he could not refuse.
This is a so-called win-win situation. So, besides promoting, we also build good relationships with other companies.
We have three big sponsors, the Dorong Sorong foundation, the Mandiri bank and our newest sponsor is Bumi Putera insurance.
Can you tell me more about the win-win situation?
Every company needs promotion. So, we took the opportunity to offer our sponsor to put his name on our bus. We told him that we have 2 buses and if they put their advertisement on the bus, everyone can see it. Our buses drive every day from Sorong city to Sorong regency, thus a big exposure. In return they sponsor us. This is a Win-Win situation
How does the future look like, with regards to your bus-advertisement?
In fact, that is a secret but I will tell you just a little bit. We will try to find other big sponsors because there is still a lot of space on our buses.
